Republic Secretariat for relation with International Criminal Tribunal in Hague and war crime research , in compliance with RS Government conclusion, addressed today by letter UN Counsel commission for archives of International Tribunals for former Yugoslavia and Ruanda ( ACA ). This commission is preparing Project which will organize future of archive both ad hoc courts of International Crime Courts. Government of Republika Srpska have already asked Secretariat to participate in this project

That is why Secretariat asked members of this Commission to visit Banja Luka in order to present them opinion of RS Government concerning this subject. Secretariat would give them additional information on Republika Srpska potentials to accept archived material and secure space in its institutions after cessation of ICTY . UN Counsel Commission is presided by the former prosecutor of Tribunal in Hague mr. Richard Goldstone and it’s consisted of international experts in law and archiving.

Secretariat express its hope that members of the Commission would as soon as possible give an answer on this initiative.
