Stevan Todorovic, who had been sentenced by ICTY, was released from prison after serving two thirds of the sentence.
Stevan Todorovic was sentenced on 31 July 2001 to 10 years' imprisonment for one count of crimes against humanity (persecution) in the Samac municipality, after which he was transferred to Spain to serve the sentence.
ICTY granted Todorovic’s request for early release after his serving the
two thirds of the sentence. Mr Todorovic was imprisoned in Spain until the
conditions for the early release were met.
