The Secretariat has processed and completed the material for the next session of the Government of the Republic of Srpska regarding the Decision on providing guarantees for temporary release of Sredoja Lukic.

ICTY indicted Sredoja Lukic in October 1998 in the case No. IT-98-32 “Visegrad”, “Prosecutor vs Sredoja Lukic” for the alleged crimes committed in Visegrad during the last war in the period from May 1992 – October 1994.

Sredoja Lukic voluntarily surrendered to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska 13 September 2005, and arrived in the Detention Unit of the ICTY 16 September 2005.

After the completion of the documentation the Secretariat has referred the case to the Governmentt of the Republic of Srpska for further consideration.
