General Radivoje Miletic’s defence counsels turned to the Secretariat in order to ask the Government of Republika Srpska to provide guarantee for the provisional release of their client.
The Secretariat reviewed and completed the materials and referred them to the Government of Republika Srpska.
General Radivoje Miletic voluntarily surrendered on 28 February 2005.
On 19 July 2005 the Trial Chamber rendered the decision on a provisional release, which was confirmed by the Appeal Chamber on 19. October 2005.
