TO ALL MEDIA
ICTY has delivered 39 out of 86 criminal cases which were transferred through the Secretariat to the unit “Rules of the Road”. Those criminal cases are about war crimes committed against Serbs during the previous war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For 42 Bosniacs and Croats ICTY sent remark “A”, which means that there are sufficient evidence to believe that the person committed serious violation of international humanitarian law.
For 117 persons ICTY sent remark “B”, which means that presented evidence are not sufficient to believe that the person committed serious violation of international humanitarian law.
For 89 persons ICTY sent remark “C”, which means that the presented evidence are not sufficient and that the Prosecution Office requires additional evidence.
Cases which were not reviewed by the “Rules of the Road” have been transmitted to the Prosecution Office of the BiH Court, and copies of the received cases are kept in the Prosecution’s archives.
