Republic Center for War Crime research, as a working department which belongs to the Ministry of Justice of Republika Srpska, was established by the Law on republic's administration ( " Official gazette of Republika Srpska no. 118/08 and 11/09)
Proffesional tasks done by this Center are determined by the article 52 of the Law on republic's administration.
Internal organisation and work place organisation in Center for war crime research are established by the Rule book on internal organisation and work place organisation in Republic Center for war crime research.Rule book on internal organisation and work place organisation was done in accordance to the Republika Srpska Government and it was published in Official gazette of Republika Srpska no. 99/09 dated 09.11.2009 and became effective on eighth day upon publishing in Official gazette of Republika Srpska dated 16.11.2009.
Internal organization of Center is consisted of three ( 3 ) departments , three ( 3 ) units and two ( 2 ) groups. Center is consisted of 36 workers placed on 33 positions. Of whole number of executive stuff 19 of them are state officials and 17 put-up workers
